Welcome to My Money Pit.

We decided on a house in September of 2010. Due to issues with probate we did not get the house till January 26th of 2011. The house was very livable and unbelievable clean. I was committed and knew what I was getting myself into when we bought it.

As you can see there is a medieval feel to it.  The carpet was a little sore on the eyes. Soon we discovered these are rugs that are something that are quite expensive if replace.
The plan here is to install shelves and take all the textured wall paper and styrofoam off the walls. We also will take sand the floor boards in the entire area.
I plan to take the carpeting and convert them into area rugs instead of just dumping them. One of the main themes is conserve and restore as much as I can possibly do within reason.
Kitchen has all custom Oak cabinets. Plan here is to install a new stove/cooker. Take out all the tile and give it a bit of life. The floor boards will be restored here with them be fully insulated under neath. The concrete slab where the linoleum currently sites will be razed and installed with heated tile flooring.
The medieval doors kill me...
Curtains gone.
Faucet is gone.
Razed and moved.
This has been destroyed and found a lead pipe on top of the lead pipes, ugh.
Razed.
Total Gut.
They never used the shower.  This caused major issues in the kitchen below.  Details will be shown in the future.
The white room. All that needs is the crap on the ceiling to be removed.
Below was completed gutted and was the first project that I under took.  It was unliveable and used as a   sitting room with the ugliest colour scheme that was ever put together..
You will see the entire transformation.
Concrete wall.
The last person use to take his classic music serious.  He built custom made record shelves here and the hallway closet.
Green and Yellow and Blue and White, will never go together.
Condensation mess. High on todo list.
Electric Stove is been tossed.
Gutted.
